All the artwork here was generated by an AI, using only the original image as reference and a single sentence of text instruction. I'll list the instructions I gave it with each image. Most are based off the image you see below (a video game character), but there are some fun family ones at the end.
This is only a prototype AI, and still has a lot of rough edges. It struggles a bit with faces yet, but even at this early stage it's quite powerful.
There are significant implications for artists, and for legality. It's scary good at making just about anyone naked, for example. I can imagine teenagers sending around a naked picture of a girl in their class, causing all sorts of harm. But, there's no stopping it, though professional artists are doing their best. With some of the professional-grade artwork it can do in just about any style (even without anything for reference), I can see why they are trying to stop it.
All of these images here were generated in less than 5 seconds.
